"We have the most wonderful time staying in the Penthouse at The Castaways. We were blown away by the cleanliness of the unit and all the little amenities located inside. All you need to bring is your clothes and favorite beach towels (they have some there, but not as big as we like). Don't let the some of the reviews located elsewhere make your determination about the building. It was quiet and family oriented. New carpet in the hallways and the pool was immaculate. We'll be back for sure."

"Dave&Karen , Finding a single condo to accomodate my daugther-in -law & 2 infants & my daughter & son-in -law was tough! Especially at an affordable price! How pleased we have been with our stay. We rarely left ( except for dinner ) because of the lovely views & things to do. The Penthouse view was breathtaking! We especially enjoyed watching the lifeguards 'try outs' or do their daily training each morning early. We were amazed at their workout ! Everything was very clean and tidy too. My husband was unable to come this time. As a rulke he loves the beach but hates the heat. I want to bring him here!He coulkd stay in the bedroom or balcony and ejoy it in comfort . Thanks , Renee"

"We stayed in (Harbour Beach Resort unit 814) and thoroughly enjoyed the views and the hospitality. The rooms were exceptionally clean and comfortable and from our vantage point, we could see so much. The night views of the city and the boardwalk were lovely.
We visit Daytona Beach every year on our anniversary and have stayed in MANY hotels and condos in the past 35 years but this one had to be the best value and nicest owners we have run dealt with. We also were impressed (and thankful) that the rooms did not have that nasty 'closed up musty' smell so many beach units have.
Many thanks to you, Karen and Dave for allowing us to use your lovely condo. . . we'll be back next year!!!"
